Job Description

The Quartz Corp is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for the timely processing of journal entries, analysis of general ledger account activities, and other monthly closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly journal entries, including standard, recurring, and specific entries.
  • Regularly review key general ledger accounts and prepare Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
  • Generate and distribute reports to other departments to assist in independent account analysis and verification.
  • Code invoices for A/P Processing.
  • Review bank statements and activity.
  • Initiate funds transfers.
  • Confirm Positive Pay exceptions.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
