Job Summary

This position is located in the Food and Drug Administration, National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), Office of Research, Division of Biochemical Toxicology. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and directing research specifically designed to define the biological mechanisms of action underlying the toxicity of products regulated by or of interest to the product centers of the FDA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzes data to determine whether the Office is utilizing resources to their maximum potential and have appropriate allocations within the Office in accordance with productivity and collaborations within and without the Center.
  • Conducts studies of work processes and procedures in first line programs within the administrative, professional, or scientific organizations of the Office.
  • Holds principal liaison, evaluation, and analysis responsibilities for coordinating project/program information with financial management data to facilitate procurement of outside funding and development of work plans.

Qualifications
  • The position of Management Analyst falls under the 0343 occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade GS-12, you must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by 11:59 pm EST on 10/29/2024.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
