Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and develop engineering calculations, studies, and drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project.
  • Interact with other disciplines, project support groups, vendors, and client representatives as appropriate on assigned projects.
  • Develop electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Sizing and specifying electrical equipment.
  • Advanced level of understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, lightning protection systems.
  • Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
  • Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year ABET-accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduation professional electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience in power system analysis, including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash, and relay coordination studies.
  • Experience in EASYPOWER, SKM, or ETAP Power System Analysis software.
  • Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen. Must not have Dual Citizenship.
  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Position may require travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer License in Electrical Engineering (Please indicate in profile).
  • DOE/DOD/Army Corp of Engineer project experience.
  • Advanced level of experience in communications and security systems.
  • Experience in 3D design using BIM, Revit, MicroStation, AutoCAD MEP.

Compensation & Benefits:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85K - $112K (Annually) (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
