Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Maraca Learning, Inc. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist BCBAs with conducting behavioral assessments and developing treatment plans
  • Implement ABA therapy sessions with children using evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to teach behavioral skills and strategies
  • Manage and intervene on challenging behavior exhibited by children with autism
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
