Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Greeting and Check-in: Greet patients and visitors, obtain accurate information, and process check-in procedures.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinate patient flow, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily accounts receivable activity.
  • Quality and Customer Service: Demonstrate initiatives to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and support.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Degree or Vocational School Graduate
  • Experience: Previous medical office experience preferred
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
