About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team focused on building scalable data solutions for Kubernetes and cloud machines.

As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy high-quality data solutions
  • Hiring, coaching, and mentoring engineers to ensure the team's success
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and deliver excellent products
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth
  • Developing and implementing engineering best practices to ensure quality and efficiency

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from big data and MySQL databases to cloud-native applications. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our users, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned engineering leader with a strong background in software engineering, preferably with experience in Python and Golang. You should have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business outcomes.

Key qualifications include:

  • Software engineering background with experience in Python and Golang
  • Experience running in production and at scale, preferably big data or MySQL
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build high-quality, open-source software
  • Proven ability to drive good engineering practices around performance and quality
