Key Responsibilities- Design electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems for bidding and construction purposes.
- Lead and manage design and construction projects both internally and with clients and contractors.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to staff engineers.
- Communicate with owners, clients, architects, and contractors, and lead meetings as needed.
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and criteria for assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with other engineers and personnel to meet project deadlines.
- Apply engineering principles to research, design, and evaluate systems, products, and processes aligned with project goals.
- Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project requirements.
- Analyze client design requirements, manuals, and data to assess the feasibility, cost, and maintenance needs of designs.
- Review contractor submittals (e.g., shop drawings) for compliance with contract documents.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in both internal and external project management.
- Experience in Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12, and Commercial sectors.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
