Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Specialist to join our team at MAC DISCOUNT LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company with full cycle hiring and HR functions for a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Create and manage job advertisements, source candidates, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews.
  • Onboarding and New Hire Integration: Facilitate the onboarding process, conduct orientation sessions, and ensure completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Administrative and Compliance Tasks: Maintain accurate records in the HRIS, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and prepare and maintain employment and recruitment-related documentation.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first HR contact for employee performance, concerns, policy, and conflicts, and partner with corporate HR to develop and implement initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in HR or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or another relevant field.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law, including EEO and ADA.
  • Ability to work in the Henderson and Las Vegas locations interchangeably.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate stressful situations and work productively in an office environment.
