Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the shipping and receiving operations for the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining precise records of all incoming and outgoing products. The Logistics Coordinator ensures that inventory records are consistently updated and accurate. Reporting directly to the logistics supervisor, this role typically follows a Monday to Friday, day shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Organize and schedule shipments while executing logistics for product distribution.
2. Review and verify invoices, ensuring that inventory is systematically organized and orders are fulfilled accurately.
3. Prepare and deliver comprehensive shipping documentation.
4. Monitor and update the status of shipments in accordance with customer requirements.
5. Operate warehouse machinery and package items/products as necessary.
6. Address and rectify any discrepancies related to shipments or inventory.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards for product shipments.
8. Uphold a safety-first approach for oneself and fellow team members in shipping and receiving.
9. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in shipping and dock areas.
10. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree or certification in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent experience in logistics (preferred).

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing or industrial setting; experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office Suite or logistics software such as SAP or CAT2.

Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, CAT2) is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, representing the company positively.
- Highly organized, capable of multitasking with a keen attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop for extended periods.
- Proficient in safely operating motorized equipment for moving goods.
- Ability to work safely in varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
