As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our commercial food service equipment, such as high-speed ovens, food warmers, coffee brewers, and frozen beverage units.

Job Summary:

The Field Maintenance Technician will travel to store locations to perform maintenance and service repairs on various types of commercial food service equipment. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial food service equipment, including high-speed ovens, food warmers, coffee brewers, and frozen beverage units.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage parts inventory on assigned service trucks by conducting weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.
  • Travel to multiple store locations throughout the day, working independently and effectively managing time to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and team supervisors to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of calls.
  • Update job status and notes via online work order management system, providing detailed resolution notes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school and/or associate's degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of related experience in repairing commercial food service equipment, with additional experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades a plus.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing, on a regular basis.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime when needed.
