FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Hourly, eligible for overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Under guidance, conduct calibration, troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation, and maintenance of sophisticated instrumentation and control systems.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including generating reports and maintaining records related to performance tests and emissions monitoring.
- Ensure effective performance to maintain station reliability and provide a consistent steam supply to customers.
- Possess a solid understanding of steam and electric power generation, water quality management, plant operations, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Work independently while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to foster productive working relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma plus a vocational certificate in electronics or equivalent.
- Preferred: Two-year degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of four years of job-related experience.
Special Requirements:
- Regular in-person reporting is required.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license as travel may be necessary.
- Subject to background checks for compliance with regulatory standards.
- Consistent attendance is a critical function of this role.
- This position may require skills assessment and job matching.
