Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies in educational settings
  • Accurately collect ongoing data on client progress
  • Assist in developing communication systems (AAC, PECS, ASL) for non-verbal and emerging-verbal clients and teach communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to customize ABA treatment plans to meet each client's unique needs
  • Maintain clear communication with all team members and clients' families
  • Provide behavioral support and address challenging behaviors as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working with children in any capacity
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • Insured and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with clients
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during school hours

Ideal Candidates:

  • Individuals passionate about working with children
  • Candidates holding current CBT or RBT certifications
  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred
