Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure all procedures are followed by the maintenance team.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment faults to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and ensure all preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the maintenance field in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in electrical or mechanical maintenance would be a plus.
