We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Biostatistics and Research to join our team at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned biostatistician to lead our clinical trials department, driving research innovation and advancing patient care.

About the Role

The Senior Director of Biostatistics and Research will be responsible for overseeing the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies across all stages of a study. You will lead a team of statisticians, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and scientific validity of results.

This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in SAS programming for statistical analysis and data manipulation. You will also have excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff, management, and sponsors. Experience in authoring manuscripts, SOPs, and clinical documents is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and report on new and continuing sponsor-related clinical trials.
  • Provide project guidance, instructions, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding study design, implementation, and execution.
  • Lead a team of biostatisticians, providing guidance and oversight as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAS programmers, data managers, physicians, and core labs.
Requirements
  • M.S./Ph.D. degree in Biostatistics or Statistics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trials.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical trials process from design and inception to data acquisition and data reporting.
  • Experience in cardiology and/or prior experience in medical device clinical trials is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAS programming for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
