Salary Range: $76,721.84 - $91,052.00 Annually

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Biostatistician to join our Radiology Research team. In this role, you will work with investigators on statistical analyses, study design, protocol development, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied statistics and be proficient in programming languages such as R, SAS, SPSS, M-Plus, or STATA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor databases, resolving complex issues and optimizing performance for data extraction and analysis.
  • Collaborate with investigators on study design and statistical plans for grants and pilot studies.
  • Write statistical reports for clinical studies and manuscripts, and assist with data requests.
  • Consult with and train researchers in the use of statistical software and methodology.
  • Program statistical analyses, summarize results, conduct simulations, perform biostatistical literature reviews, and assist research teams in their daily work.

Requirements:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related quantitative area.
  • At least 5 years of post-graduation experience.
  • Proficient in at least three of R, SAS, SPSS, M-Plus, or STATA.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely delivery with meticulous quality.
  • Strong understanding of medical and imaging concepts and terminology.
