Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within the scope of their training and approved agreement. Collaborating with other providers and staff, the APP ensures efficient patient flow and exceptional patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health histories, review patient records, and develop detailed medical assessments to inform treatment decisions.
  • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses, and implement therapy or referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and resources.
  • Initiate emergency measures and emergency treatment or stabilization measures in critical situations, such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
  • Analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management, and treatment.
  • Provide instructions and guidance on healthcare and health promotion to patients, families, and significant others.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and families.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred).
  • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
  • Able to multitask and work independently.
Compensation

$70.00 per hour
