Advanced Practice Healthcare Professional

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within the scope of their training and approved agreement. Collaborating with other providers and staff, the APP ensures efficient patient flow and exceptional patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health histories, review patient records, and develop detailed medical assessments to inform treatment decisions.
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses, and implement therapy or referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and resources.
- Initiate emergency measures and emergency treatment or stabilization measures in critical situations, such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
- Analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management, and treatment.
- Provide instructions and guidance on healthcare and health promotion to patients, families, and significant others.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and families.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred).
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
- Able to multitask and work independently.
$70.00 per hour
