Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and Food Defense requirements.
- EHSS Plan Management: Ensure the EHSS plan is continuously in compliance and provide support to line management to meet facility goals and requirements.
- Communication and Training: Develop and implement training programs for employees and contractors on EHSS-related topics and maintain accurate records of training and compliance.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead and cooperate with EHSS committee members, department managers, and line supervisors in incident investigations and implement corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Compliance Audits and Record Keeping: Conduct and coordinate comprehensive audits with EHSS committee members, department managers, and line supervisors to identify hazards and implement controls.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Manage reports and records of injuries, input/send Workers' Compensation claims, and maintain accuracy on records submitted to agencies.
- Emergency Response and Continuous Improvement: Address emergencies, seek input on workplace changes, and make improvements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- OSHA 511/510 certification (preferred).
- Bilingual - Spanish.
