Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Barnes Healthcare Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care solutions to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the overall business strategy by engaging with healthcare decision-makers to showcase our respiratory care products and services.
  • Build partnerships and deliver exceptional customer service to drive revenue growth and ensure the delivery of high-quality respiratory care solutions.
  • Model and hold others accountable to our company culture and act as a coach and mentor for others in the organization.
  • Consult with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical condition, home environment, and Plan of Care.
  • Complete new-patient setups, coach patients on how to use equipment, and provide respiratory disease education.
  • Educate patients on patient rights, financial responsibility, and collect payments and signatures where applicable.
  • Perform regular checks on patients by performing limited physical examinations and checks equipment to ensure proper use and operation.
  • Follow established safeguards when contacting patients in their homes/locations.
  • Complete paperwork, charting, and plan of care promptly and accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required.
  • Current Respiratory Therapist License in good standing within the state of employment is required.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Two years of home healthcare/hospice experience preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Driving, standing, walking, and lifting for 8+ hours per day.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 55 lbs.
