Proactive Nurse Care Coordinator

Ochsner Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a leadership role. As a Nurse Leader in Patient Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of licensed and ancillary staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
- Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family, and other groups or disciplines.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
- Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.
