About the Job

We are looking for a skilled nursing professional to contribute to our Residency Program, which provides support and guidance to recent graduates and nursing students. As a Nurse Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the careers of our new nurses and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement residency programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of new nurses
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to residents, promoting their growth and development as professionals
  • Collaborate with clinical educators and preceptors to ensure seamless integration into our care teams
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Prior experience in nursing education or development is preferred but not required
