Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Policy Issuance Specialist to administer the policy issuance process, ensuring compliance with company and carrier guidelines. You will work closely with underwriters to meet production goals and develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, and agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a working knowledge of policy issuance procedures and company guidelines.
  • Assist underwriters in meeting production goals and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and agents through timely and accurate service.
  • Audit, correct, and verify all necessary information prior to policy issuance.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Request cancellation and reinstatement of policies as necessary.
  • Conduct ratings to ensure policy information is accurate.
  • Maintain suspense systems and follow up on receipt of policies, endorsements, inspections, and correspondence from outside sources.
  • Forward policy servicing inquiries to Quality Control for handling.
  • Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Current state-specific license required within 90 days.
  • Ability to develop, foster, and maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to use company automation, including in-house proprietary systems.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to review information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Property and Casualty Insurance experience.
