We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Houston Engineering, Inc.
About the Role
- Prepare and analyze hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality models to address complex water resource challenges.
- Coordinate with other engineering departments on multifaceted projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Conduct onsite construction inspections and provide survey crew assistance, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Work closely with CAD drafters to develop and refine project designs, leveraging expertise in hydrology software and other relevant tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, or Biosystems Engineering or a related field.
- Entry-level to 3 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of water resources principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or hydrology software is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
