Position Overview:
The Lead Wealth Management Consultant (also referred to as Senior Financial Advisor - Investment Services - Workplace) collaborates with individual clients to create actionable plans that align with their financial objectives and consolidate their assets with Empower.

Utilizing your professional licenses, certifications, and cutting-edge financial tools, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs and provide effective solutions to enhance their financial well-being.

In this capacity, you will not be responsible for managing a personal portfolio but will focus on delivering solutions tailored to our clients.

A successful Consultant will adeptly engage in meaningful discussions with clients about the advantages of consolidating their accounts to achieve their financial goals efficiently.

Success in this role is measured by the effective consolidation of external accounts.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture relationships by attentively addressing client needs while maximizing the benefits of Empower's products and services.
  • Conduct scheduled meetings to identify external asset opportunities, successfully close on identified opportunities, and facilitate the onboarding of these assets.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of goal-oriented planning by proposing solutions for various savings objectives, including education funding, retirement savings, and other long-term financial goals.
  • Implement Empower's conversational framework and interactive planning tools to assess participant needs and outline appropriate next steps.
  • Effectively manage your time and pipeline to prioritize daily tasks based on client needs and the potential for expanding relationships with Empower.
  • Oversee the process using SalesForce CRM to document client interactions, follow up diligently during the account transfer process, and pursue outstanding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with relationship management and advisory teams to prioritize meetings aimed at consolidating external assets and ensure a seamless transition back to the relationship management team post-closure.
  • Achieve bi-monthly sales and conversation targets to qualify for incentive compensation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include participation in staff meetings, product training sessions, and compliance with federal and state regulations related to securities and insurance.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial industry with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of retail investment options and qualified retirement plans.
  • Possession of FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) registrations is required.
  • FINRA fingerprinting is also required.
