Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes with significant impact potential.
  • Identify, recommend, initiate, and implement programs in manufacturing to improve product cost, service, and quality, and process safety and health/environmental impact.
  • Support and cultivate a network of support (laboratory, quality, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing) to facilitate completion of assignments.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of assigned manufacturing technology, processes, costs, and associated influences, and equipment justification, procurement, design, and installation.
  • Maintain and improve team effectiveness and leadership skills.
  • Maintain awareness of current and developing safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures, applies same to all assignments. Promote appropriate safety practices to coworkers, as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) years of experience in manufacturing in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
    • Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing, private, public, government, or military environment.
    • Skills include effective communication, team effectiveness, and leadership skills.
