Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef/Kitchen Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team and develop a full menu from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality dishes and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct food preparation and related activities
  • Modify menus and/or create new menus
  • Estimate food requirements and order necessary items to stock the kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and managing timesheets
  • Assist with recruiting kitchen staff
  • May be required to arrange for equipment repairs and/or new equipment purchases
  • Appropriately rectify problems or complaints from guests
  • Perform administrative duties as required, including scheduling and managing labor costs
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations
  • Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies
  • Responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Head/Executive Chef in the kitchen or 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef
  • Experience in a 100% scratch kitchen highly preferred
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Safe Serve Certified
  • Working knowledge of POS system(s), preferably Arryved
  • Must be able to appropriately interact with guests
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to take and pass a background check
