Patient-Centered Care
MEDSTAR HEALTH is committed to delivering patient-centered care that meets the unique needs of each individual. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible. You will assess patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural dimensions, as well as their educational needs. You will also perform all respiratory therapy treatments and services, including but not limited to: application, operation, monitoring, and management of equipment and services provided.

Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural dimensions, as well as their educational needs
• Performing all respiratory therapy treatments and services, including but not limited to: application, operation, monitoring, and management of equipment and services provided
• Maintaining accurate records and reports of patient information and treatment plans
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Associate degree from an AMA-accredited program in respiratory care, or higher. Additionally, you must be a CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
