FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, engage in the production line activities to construct manufactured housing as part of a collaborative team, ensuring quality output in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all manual tasks in the assigned area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Utilize a tape measure accurately.
  • Interpret blueprints and work orders.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Operate hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools safely.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently and systematically.
  • Understanding of safety protocols.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to Champion Operating Principles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
