Job Description

At Antenna Research Associates Inc., we are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Interns in Aerospace and Software Engineering. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of innovative technologies that provide situational awareness, threat detection, and communications capabilities to the national security community.

We are looking for students working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including software development, systems engineering, and antenna and signal systems. You will also have the opportunity to work with our team of engineers, management, and subcontractors to develop competitive solutions to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate applicable systems to support the manufacture of final products and prototypes.
  • Develop, update, and follow process specifications to support the manufacture and characterization of final products.
  • Continuously identify and propose solutions for efficiency and throughput improvements.
  • Develop new processes by working with fellow ARA engineers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Work individually and with ARA's team of engineers, management, and subcontractors to develop competitive solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Support whitepapers, demonstrations, and proposals used to identify, qualify, and/or capture new product and product development business.
  • Work with ARA's engineers and management to identify customer requirements and define solutions for customers that achieve overall company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and support management of technical tasks to meet the overall project objectives.
  • Support the creation of work authorizations to guide completion of tasks.
  • Identify potential issues/risks and develop and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Intermediate Excel Skill and additional Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite- Word, Power Point etc.).
  • Attending a two-year or four-year college Working toward a degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
