Xometry, a leading digital marketplace for manufacturing, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join their User Experience team. With at least 5 years of experience in cross-functional environments, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design thinking and be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders, engineers, and designers.

The successful candidate will lead complex initiatives, partner with product managers and engineering leads to identify problems and opportunities, and develop strategies to prioritize features and execute on them. They will also work closely with other designers and developers to improve and maintain design consistency across product areas.

Key responsibilities include prototyping features with user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs, conducting usability testing methods to identify solutions, coaching other designers, and fostering a respectful and productive team culture.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have strong communication skills, 'T-shaped' UX design skills, and experience designing for web apps in marketplace companies or those with a strong service design component. A portfolio showcasing decision-making and experience designing products for web and mobile is also required.

Xometry offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
