Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Access Representative 2 to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, providing clear directions and assistance as needed.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and visitors.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, mail sorting, and supply ordering.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient directories and visitation logs.
  • Ensure a clean and organized reception area, adhering to University and unit-level policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
