Safety Coordinator

NewCold is a leading provider of cold chain logistics services, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety culture and encourage open communication.
- 2+ years of experience in a light industrial and/or warehouse environment.
- 2+ years of experience in Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health.
- Preferred candidate's experience should include the knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, BRC, VPP, and First Aid.
