Job Title: Shop Mechanic III

Michels Corporation is seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic III to join our team. As a Shop Mechanic III, you will be responsible for performing advanced tasks in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
  • Work independently and on a team, communicate effectively, be detail oriented, and problem solve.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility related equipment, and trailers.
  • Aerial experience.
  • Experience with DOT Inspections.
  • CDL Class A and valid Federal Medical Card.
  • Experience welding.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Able to provide own basic hand tools.
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
  • Diesel Mechanic Program completion and/or Master ASE Credits (desired).
  • Forklift experience – training will be provided.
