CITRUS PRODUCTS INC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting NFC samples, packaging samples for customers, and performing basic analysis in the lab.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify product codes, labels, cases, cartons, cans, packages, sleeves, seals, and shrink wrap.
  • Collect NFC samples from tank farms, FCOJ drumming, off-loading, and blending for microbiological analysis.
  • Assist/perform analytical testing to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Complete Quality Assurance reports as necessary.
  • Calibrate and verify laboratory instruments.
  • Monitor and inspect housekeeping and sanitation.
  • Organize samples and storage log.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Receive chemical/reagents and lab supplies, organize, and store them properly.
  • Assist in controlling laboratory supplies and reagents.
  • Sterilize microbiological samplers, prepare reagents when needed.
  • Maintain glassware by picking up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing.
  • Assist with samples preparation and shipping to customers.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of counters, floors, and equipment.
  • Escort pest control contractor during inspections.
  • Comply with and follow GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and all plant rules/regulations.
