Job Overview

The primary role of the Foreman is to oversee and manage teams on construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, lead, and mentor team members to successfully complete projects within set timelines and standards.
  • Direct and prioritize tasks for personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interpret and implement project plans, material lists, and timelines effectively.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including documentation and discipline of crew members.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings on a daily basis.
  • Submit crew members' timesheets to payroll punctually.
  • Carry out all essential installation and construction tasks, including project layout responsibilities.
  • Request inspections from code enforcement authorities as necessary.
  • Complete required documentation promptly.
  • Respond to incidents and ensure timely completion of necessary reports.
  • Participate in operational meetings as needed.
  • Facilitate the timely delivery of tools, equipment, and materials to maintain workflow.
  • Provide clear installation instructions to workers through detailed verbal guidance or sketches.
  • Execute tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in construction roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities that foster respect and motivate team members.
  • Knowledgeable and committed to enforcing safety programs and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills to enhance team performance.
