We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. This role will provide energy efficient, sustainable, planning & technical designs for HVAC & mechanical systems for commercial, educational, industrial, and corporate projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual designs and equipment selection for HVAC systems
- Prepare HVAC models and calculations, as well as design drawings, specifications, and control sequences of operation
- Collaborate with senior leadership and project architect to ensure successful project execution
- Conduct submittal reviews, make construction site visits, and observe system start-ups
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, architectural engineering, or related discipline
- Approximately four (4) or more years' experience in mechanical systems design for commercial, educational, industrial, and corporate projects
- EIT registration required
- Fluency in Revit, Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and various engineering software tools
