Job Summary

Zaxby's Nashville - Charlotte Ave is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging menu items to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assemble and package menu items according to Zaxby's standards, ensuring that all food items are prepared to meet our quality and presentation standards.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Properly hold and store all food items, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to prevent malfunction and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report to management when equipment is malfunctioning, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Portion Control and Presentation: Prepare all food items, maintaining accurate portion control and presentation standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and storage areas, taking out the trash, sweeping, and mopping restaurant areas as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Parking Lot Sweeps: Conduct parking lot sweeps as needed to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and staff.
