We are seeking a Healthcare Delivery Specialist to enhance patient care in their own residences. In this role, you will assist with medical evaluations, conduct point-of-care assessments, administer treatments, and gather essential data under the guidance of a virtual DispatchHealth Advanced Practice Provider. Comprehensive training will be provided for this rewarding opportunity to deliver hospital-quality healthcare directly to patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicle to reach patients at their homes and manage necessary supplies
- Adhere to stringent infection control measures and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Engage with healthcare professionals through messaging and video calls
- Measure patient vital signs and support data collection efforts
- Conduct medical evaluations and other diagnostic procedures as instructed
- Perform point-of-care laboratory tests as needed
- Deliver discharge instructions and ensure proper handling of equipment
- Restock and sanitize equipment at the conclusion of each shift
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as required to ensure successful patient visits
Qualifications:
- EMT certification, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, or LPN/LVN in accordance with state regulations
- At least one year of experience in a patient-facing role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- BLS certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Capability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds of equipment
- Excellent customer service, communication, and technical abilities
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and procedural tasks
- Cultural awareness and the ability to collaborate within a diverse team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
