Key Responsibilities- Perform medical assistant functions in the Kidney department, including vital signs, medication review, and lab retrieval.
- Assist transplant coordinators in pre-transplant evaluations, including educational material preparation, scheduling, and data tracking.
- Provide general assistance to clinic nurses and nurse coordinators, including triage of patient phone calls and retrieval of studies.
- BLS certification required.
- MA certification preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
- One year of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
