POSITION SUMMARY:
The Banking Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of the teller team at CBI Bank & Trust. This role ensures that clients receive exceptional and efficient service. The supervisor will conduct audits of accounts and transaction records to guarantee adherence to established operational standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor teller staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new tellers.
- Ensure that all tellers participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all banking regulations, policies, and security protocols.
- Facilitate the opening and closing of certificates of deposit and various accounts.
- Uphold a strong record of performance in line with bank policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet sales targets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with a passion for coaching and developing team members.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail banking environment is preferred.
- Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
