About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Dickinson Fleet Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty vehicles, including inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical, brake, cooling, and other systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Document all work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections, using our proprietary application, PRONTO.
  • Communicate effectively with management, team members, and dispatch to ensure seamless coordination of work and timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage parts inventory and equipment on company-issued service trucks, performing periodic reconciliations as needed.
  • Work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure quality of work.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assessing customer needs and providing information or assistance as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and meet Dickinson Fleet Services minimum driving qualification standards.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hours of hire.
  • Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences.
  • Must be at least 21 years or older.
