Diesel Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles
- Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and other systems on heavy-duty vehicles
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles
- Communicate with management, team members, and dispatch to obtain approvals and discuss findings
- Document work performed, parts used, and findings on repair orders using company-issued devices and proprietary software
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and meeting Cox Automotive Mobility minimum driving qualification standards
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a power technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences
