About the Role

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of client programs, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day management of client programs, including rights holder relationship development and client management.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth and achieve client objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated marketing campaigns and global ways of working.
  • Craft strategic recommendations for sponsorship campaigns that are relevant, rooted in fan passions, and aligned with both brand initiatives and client target audience.
  • Lead all aspects of the relationship with key sponsorship partners, including property and vendors, and be the key day-to-day point of contact on behalf of the client.
  • Lead delivery, management, and development of core sponsorship branding assets and integrations.
  • Build, manage, and track program budgets for internal reporting and client reports.
  • Oversight and management of direct reports, while also supporting career development.
  • Domestic and international travel to support client programming, including non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
  • Possess significant marketing partnership/sponsorship experience, ideally within an agency setting, and excel at handling expectations with multiple partners.
  • Excellent project management skills, managing across several workstreams to connect all of the dots.
  • A minimum of 7+ years' experience in sports sponsorship or experiential marketing.
  • Experience working with global rights holders (preferred) and/or on global campaigns.
  • Confident and comfortable presenting to senior clients and partners.
  • Keen sense of business process and how sports sponsorship, event marketing, communications, and events impact the bottom line and drive brand objectives.
  • Versatile and able to develop, create, and implement POVs, strategic marketing plans, and program development documents for several programs simultaneously.
  • Have experience overseeing executional deliverables and program activations across multiple projects.
  • A highly driven and motivated individual.

  • Experience leading teams to exceed client expectations.
