Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Wellness Counselor will:

  • Provide Professional Counseling: Deliver comprehensive counseling services to students, addressing their academic, personal, and social challenges.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy, or a Doctoral degree in psychology.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Ph.D. in Psychology.
  • Experience in professional counseling, particularly in a college or university setting.
Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Advanced knowledge of counseling theories and techniques.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and mental health outreach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
