Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Shipping and Receiving operations to ensure safety and efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Coordinate international and inbound logistics, including managing transportation management systems (TMS) for customers.
• Develop and manage budgets for the Shipping and Receiving departments.
• Negotiate freight contracts with carriers to optimize costs and delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer route guides, and logistics carrier requirements to minimize fines.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 10+ years of equivalent work experience and responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Effective time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in negotiating freight contracts and managing logistical challenges.
• Proficient with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Portals.
