Contingent Vaccine Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vaccination and Care Specialist to join our team at LanceSoft. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for administering vaccinations and injections, obtaining vital signs, and providing emergency care in collaboration with our on-site providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
• Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care as needed
• Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
• Assist with wait room management and other responsibilities, such as patient reminder calls and appointment scheduling
• Prepare the clinic and waiting space for optimal patient experience

Requirements:

• Previous experience administering immunizations and injections, with evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Ability to take vital signs and perform Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation
• Pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask when required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
• Experience with EPIC EMR
