About the Role

Buck Brothers Asphalt & Concrete is seeking a skilled Paving Sealcoat Laborer to join our team. As a Paving Sealcoat Laborer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing pavement surfaces across various properties in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and clean pavement surfaces to prepare for resurfacing
  • Operate hand tools, such as blowers, brooms, shovels, and wheelbarrows, to ensure a clean surface prior to recoating
  • Apply liquid seal coat and crack seal to pavement surfaces
  • Trim edges around work areas and clean cracks in pavement
  • Assist with traffic control devices and maintain a clean, neat, and organized job site
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and customers
  • Ability to produce high-quality work
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, or irregular hours as required
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at job sites
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift heavy objects or request assistance when needed
  • Ability to twist, turn, and bend continuously
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry objects
  • Ability to shovel using hands, arms, and legs to complete tasks
  • Ability to carry small to large tools in and around job sites
  • Ability to walk, stand, and kneel for extended periods
