Dental Hygiene Specialist

As a Dental Hygienist at Providence Community Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and deliver direct dental care services, utilizing our established dental hygiene protocol and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, dental charting, and periodontal charting.
- Deliver routine treatment procedures, such as cleanings, polishings, x-rays, and fluoride applications.
- Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients, providing patient education and discharge planning under the supervision of a qualified dentist.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Dental Hygiene.
- Active Local Anesthesia Licensure.
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Rhode Island.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a community ambulatory dental clinic environment, with a strong emphasis on Public Health.
