Job Summary:

As a Dental Hygienist at Providence Community Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, dental charting, and periodontal charting.
  • Deliver direct patient care, performing routine treatment procedures such as cleaning, polishing, x-rays, and application of sealants and fluorides.
  • Develop and implement individualized dental care plans, providing patient education and discharge planning under the supervision of a qualified dentist.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Dental Hygiene.
  • Active Local Anesthesia Licensure.
  • Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a community ambulatory dental clinic environment, emphasizing Public Health.
