At Allworld Project Management LLC, we are seeking a skilled Field and Housing Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our inspection team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of residential properties.
About the Role
This part-time position involves conducting comprehensive inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing codes and regulations. You will be responsible for evaluating properties' quality, safety, and habitability, as well as identifying any deficiencies or areas for improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify compliance issues and provide recommendations for repair or renovation.
- Evaluate properties' structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, and overall habitability to ensure they meet required safety standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting observations, deficiencies, and recommendations for property owners and managers.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and follow-up actions to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with local government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any violations or issues found during inspections.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in housing regulations, building codes, and industry best practices to maintain your expertise and provide exceptional service to clients.
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in housing inspection, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Housing Inspector Certification, Building Inspector Certification, or similar credentials are desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with property owners, managers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $23.00 per hour, plus benefits that include health insurance (100% employer-covered), dental and vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) matching, employee assistance program, paid time off, and standard 10% bonus compensation.
Working Conditions
This is a field-based position, requiring occasional travel within the assigned inspection area. You will work primarily outdoors, inspecting residential properties in various conditions, and must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items as needed.
