About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Hyatt House Pleasanton. As a Housekeeping Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring our hotel guests have a wonderful stay with us.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, including making beds, washing sheets, mopping, dusting, and ironing.
  • Restock supplies and ensure restrooms and common areas are clean and orderly.
  • Perform other cleaning duties as assigned, such as laundry and room preparation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering general questions from guests and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items, and document any damage or repairs needed.
  • Keep common spaces, such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms, clean and stocked with supplies.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper or similar position.
  • Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
